ITA's fleet consists of all late model vehicles
meticulously cleaned and maintained inside and out.
 

VEHICLE INSPECTION

In order to insure the level of aesthetic and mechanical condition required by the Authority, all vehicles are  inspected on May 1 and November 1 of each year by representatives of the ITA and the Authority. The criteria for the inspections are as follows:

EXTERIOR

• Vehicle exterior must have a shiny finish and must be free of grime, dents, rust, torn body parts, sharp edges and loose body parts.

• All exterior trim and moldings must be in place and intact.

• Windshield, windows and mirrors must be free of any cracks or dents in excess of one inch.

• Headlights, taillights and turn signals must be fully operable.

• Exhaust system must be free of excessive muffler noise or exhaust vibration.

• Tires must be either all white walls or all black.

• Matching hubcaps on all wheels.

• No oil or fluid leakage.

INTERIOR

Our vehicles do not use "BARRIERS" between the passenger and driver. 

• Vehicle interior must be clean, free of torn rugs or upholstery, and free of sharp edges.

• All interior trim and moldings must be in place.

• Seats must be secure.

• All seat belts must  be functional.

• Heater and defroster must be in good working order (November Inspection).

• Air conditioner must be in good working order (May Inspection).
