We are Hiring Dispatchers
- Experience with digital and/or radio communications
- Working knowledge of logistics and fleet procedures
- Knowledge of Buffalo, Niagara, Canadian side of Niagara falls and surrounding counties
- Previous dispatching experience is helpful
- Flexible to work shifts that include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
- Ability to solve problems, multitask and identify alternative solutions
- Availability during weather related events and on an as needed basis
- Professional communication skills via telephone, in person or email
- Patience and empathy for people in stressful situations
- Excellent phone manner and customer service skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced situations
- Good computer skills including email, data entry and tablets
- Familiarity with Google Maps and other technical mapping sites
- Must have a clean driving license.
- Bilinguals are preferred
